Bhindi fry or okra fry is simple and humble, the kind of dish that I enjoy specially when I eat curd rice or lemon rice. Though I have posted vendakkai fry recipe before, this okra fry also tastes equally good.

How to make okra fry recipe, bhindi fry recipe, vendaikkai poriyal:
1. Heat oil in a pan, and let the mustard seeds splutter. Add curry leaves and onion. Once onions turn transparent, add okra. Cook for 5 minutes while stirring in between.2. Once okra is cooked, add chilli powder and salt. Mix well, reduce the flame and cook for about 2 to 3 minutes.3. Simmer the flame and finally add the grated coconut. Cook for a minute and then switch off.Now, okra fry is ready! Serve it with curd rice or sambar.
