How to make nellikai sadam or amla rice or gooseberry rice:
1. Heat oil and then let the mustard seeds splutter. Then add red chillies, green chillies, and curry leaves. Fry for a minute, and then add chopped nellikai.2. Fry for a minute and then add turmeric powder, chilli powder, asafoetida, and salt. Stir well and cook until soft.3. In low flame, add cooked rice and stir well gently for a minute or until rice and nellikai mixture combines well.Now, nellikai sadam or amla rice is ready!
