My family loves bread a lot. Our friends used to tease us by asking, “Are you guys always sick?” because they buy bread only when they are sick. Gj loves bread because of the reason that with bread you can make a simple breakfast to an elaborate meal. Whenever he is hungry, he would ask me to make “bread, butter and jam”. Voila, he would be done with the breakfast. We always have bread at home.
I try making a different recipe every week with the bread. Last week, my friend had made baked bread pudding, and I just loved it to the core. She said she will teach me tomorrow. So very soon, you will see the bread pudding post soon in my corner. I made this garam masala bread toast last Thursday, and it came out so well. It is very easy to make and very tasty too.

How to make garam masala bread toast:
1. Heat ghee and saute red chillies and garlic. Then add chopped onions, tamarind paste, garam masala powder, and salt. In my pictures, onion are pink in color because by mistake, I placed the onions on top of the beetroot pieces. So please excuse the pink color on the onions.2. Fry well till it becomes light brown. Let it cool down. Then grind it in a blender to a fine paste.3. Apply ghee on one side of the bread. Next, apply the ground paste on the same side. Then toast the bread by placing the ground paste side on the pan as shown in the below picture.4. Once the bread absorbs the ground paste well, then flip the bread to toast the other side too. Drizzle a drop of ghee on the bread and cook until the bread is toasted on both sides.Now, garam masala bread toast is ready! It tastes yummm. You don’t need a side dish for this toast.
