Besan ka chilla/instant kadalai mavu dosa is a recipe that I learned last year. It is a very handy recipe, and you can make it anytime with the available ingredients at home. You can make this recipe once in awhile at home and eat it with a spicy chutney. Usually, you don’t need a chutney for this recipe but I like to have it with a spicy chutney (I am so used to eat with chutney.) Some of my friends have it with ketchup. This recipe is perfect to have as breakfast. Enjoy the besan ka chilla!

How to make besan ka chilla or kadalai mavu dosa or besan ka cheela or besan flour dosa:
1. Chop the onions, green chillies, curry leaves and coriander leaves. In a mixing bowl, add besan flour and little water.2. Combine the besan flour and water well. Now add onion, green chillies, salt, cumin seeds, curry leaves, and coriander leaves.3. Combine the batter well. The consistency of the batter should be little watery (i.e) spread-like batter. The batter should be more watery than the dosa-idly batter.4. In a dosa pan, add a teaspoon of oil. Then pour a ladle full of batter and spread it out a little. Once one side of the dosa is cooked, flip it over to cook the other side.Now, instant kadalai mavu dosa is ready!
